The Role:
Cater Care Retail seeks to appoint a passionate Cook to join our quick-service retail operation at Sunshine Coast Airport.
Creating delicious meals, you'll be crucial in delivering wonderful service to our customers and making sure they have a satisfying dining experience.
Whether it's interacting with customers directly or creating fantastic value behind the scenes, this is a fantastic opportunity to experience airport hospitality as a member of a close-knit, helpful team.
Roster:
Shifts available across the week - between 5:00am and 10:00pm (no late nights). Flexible shift options available. Breaks are two consecutive days off.
What This Role Involves:
- Preparing and presenting food
- Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
- Maintaining a clean kitchen & equipment
- Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
- Fast, effective service - provided with a positive attitude
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working in kitchens and/or food preparation
- Food Safety Supervisor (desirable)
- Clear communication skills
- A team-first and solution focused attitude
- Access to own reliable transport is essential to be successful in this role.
