The role:
Cater Care Services are seeking dynamic and experienced hospitality leaders for Catering/Relief Managers at our remote mining villages throughout Queensland.
The roles are available on a Fly In Fly Out (FIFO) basis, with flights, meals, uniforms and accommodation included.
What this role involves:
This role will involve providing management of the daily catering requirements of the village, ensuring effective management in the areas of:
- Food Production
- Menu Planning and Daily Production
- Dining Room Services
- Safety, Health and Environment
- Customer Service
- Staff Supervision
- Compliance
- Administration and Operation Margins
- Client Relationship Management
- Liaising with the Site Manager
What we require from you:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Exceptional administrative and computer/ software skills
- Accommodation reservations systems experience (VAMS, SAMS, RMS)
- Stable & progressive management experience within a remote environment
- A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
- A motivated, constructive and professional ‘can-do’ attitude
- Resourcefulness, resilience and enthusiasm
- Adherence to food & general safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- Physically fit and able to work long hours with repetitive tasks
- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
- Ability to work in varying degrees of heat, cold, humidity & inclement weather
- A manual drivers’ license (preferred) and forklift ticket (highly desirable)
